For a smooth first day, park near the station where free parking is available, then walk into the historic center. From the Ponte Borbonico di Lama Monachile, enjoy breathtaking views over the beach nestled between cliffs. If you don’t mind the crowds, take a dip in those crystal-clear waters.
Stroll the alleys and soak up the Mediterranean vibe. Stop at Piazza dell’Orologio for an aperitivo and a taste of the Dolce Vita. Don’t miss century-old viewpoints overlooking both sea and town.
For a memorable experience, take a boat tour to explore marine caves: Grotta Palazzese, Grotta delle Monache, and Grotta Scampagnata. End the day with a sunset aperitif on the Balcony for Two at Dei Serafini terrace, a romantic setting.

Travel in Puglia days 3 & 4 :
Itria Valley and its enchanting villages
Leave the coast and dive into the heart of the Itria Valley, renowned for its trulli and cliff‑top villages. Set off to explore the Itria Valley, a magical place where time seems to stand still. Next, venture on to Locorotondo, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. Wander its winding streets and admire lime‑white facades that characterise the local style. Continue to Cisternino, a charming town famous for its “bracerie”, butcher shops where you can enjoy perfectly grilled meats.
If time allows, make a detour to Martina Franca, known for its Baroque architecture, and Ceglie Messapica, famous for its gastronomic offerings. Finally, cap off your exploration with the Castellana Caves, an impressive underground network well worth a visit.
Itinerary Puglia day 5 : Ostuni, the white city

Stroll along the Lungomare promenade and wander through Bari Vecchia’s alleyways. Don’t miss Via Arco Basso, where women make fresh pasta by hand, a lovely chance to experience local craftsmanship and take some pasta home. You can also visit the Norman‑Swabian Castle, Basilica di San Nicola, and the Cathedral of San Sabino. For final shopping, Via Sparano is perfect before you head back to the airport.
